Flooding, Blue Island RAC in the Chicago Tribune
Blue Island's flooding problems and the response by Mary Carvlin, the Blue Island Resident Action Committee, CNT and Jason Berry are all mentioned in a great article in the Chicago Tribune posted on June 15, 2016.
New RainReady Survey from CNT
Blue Island neighbors, an important survey has been sent via US mail to many of us. It is designed to assess our flooding problems in order to create real solutions. It comes from the RainReady program of the Center For Neighborhood Technology. We need to get the word out to all our neighbors that this is an important survey to complete. Please let people know. And please let me know if you have an idea for increasing awareness for this important survey.

Who We Are
We are a group of residents living in Northeast Blue Island who are organizing to end the flooding in our neighborhood. Our first step, in cooperation with local and regional officials, is to gather data in order to fund solutions. If you are a resident of the 7th ward please take time to complete the flooding survey. The more surveys we collect the faster we can solve the flooding crisis in Blue Island! Thanks!
